I started a construction company 6 years ago and up until 2009 It was going fairly well. Ever since this econimic down turn began for me in 2009 things have been getting rougher and rougher. The IRS has been hasseling me for things beyond my control or that just flat out haven't happened. I have been paying them on top of all my bill and overhead needed to run a business. The bills and interest just keep racking up because the jobs have quit coming in. I do free estimates and have gotten many peoples claims to go through with there insurance companies, unfortunatly many people are in my position of needing money so they keep their claim money and I end up with nothing for all my hard work. Feb. 9th 2010 my wife and I had our first child a handsome little baby boy who is the pride and joy of my life. It really worries me as to what I'm gonna do because I can't afford to support my family off these one or two little jobs that barely come in every month and this last month I haven't had any work come in. I hate to ask for hand outs I would much rather work for my money but at this point I have to try every thing I possibly can for my familys sake. I have gotten loans from family and friends and pretty much maxed out every credit card and line of credit I have to stay above water but all I'm doing is prolonging the inevitable drowning coming my way. I don't want my son to have to live like this and have even gone as far into thought as considering an open adoption so we can see him whenever we want but at least he can have a better life that I just can't afford to give him right now. I've used up all my savings, sold everything I could and still have many things for sale (If anyone needs a dumptruck I'm selling mine for $3,500 was asking $5000 and it's worth much more but I really need money). To pay my bill I have to make $4000 a month just to break even so if you can provide any help it would be greatly appreciated. Do you have any jobs you need done cause we can do anything construction related and do it well!!!
